Favorite Pancakes

From Betty Crocker's Cookbook 1 egg 1 1/4 cup buttermilk 1 1/4 cup flour 2 TBSP oil 1 tsp. sugar 1 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. soda 1/2 tsp. salt Heat griddle slowly while mixing batter; grease griddle if necessary before putting batter on. Beat egg. Beat in remaining ingredients until batter is smooth. Pour batter from tip of large spoon in pools a little apart. Sprinkle with blueberries if desired. Turn pancakes as soon as they are puffed and full of bubbles. Turn and brown on other side. Serve hot with butter and syrup.
