Chrismastime is almost here,
A time filled with holiday cheer
Families come from far away,
With their relatives to stay
Gifts are piled high under the tree,
Children wondering, "Which one's for me?"
Yet amid all the flurry,
People pause from all their hurry
To remember the first Christmas day,
When Jesus lay upon the hay
Coming for the world to save,
The best gift God ever gave
